1.Vinyl Record Store Date – The Vinyl Countdown
I shot here for the first time at The Vinyl Countdown in Ocala on January 2025, and then returned to shoot here again with a couple in October 2026. I’ve always wanted to do a photoshoot like this, so finally getting to bring the idea to life felt really special.
Music has always been a huge part of my life. It’s something I’ve always been connected to, so photographing a couple surrounded by vinyl records and music felt very natural to me. I think people who really love music will understand that feeling.
The owner was kind enough to allow us to shoot inside the shop, which I really appreciated. He was incredibly nice, and the space itself has such a cool atmosphere.

2.Retro Diner Date – Johnny Rockets at Lake Sumter Landing
OK, OK, so technically this isn’t in Ocala, but hear me out, it’s such a cool spot for a shoot. It has that warm, intimate vibe that I’ve always loved. I can just imagine a couple laughing over milkshakes, sharing coffee, or even late-night fries. The lighting is dreamy too, those big diner windows at sunset, or even at night when the lights are glowing, it all just adds to the mood.
Honestly, it could work during the day too, or we could totally go wild and hit up a Waffle House for a super fun vibe. Any kind of diner date is really flexible and just screams playful, flirty energy.

3.Adventure Lovers Session – The Canyons Zip Line & Canopy Tours
I’ve never personally shot here yet, but I would love to! This place sounds like such an amazing, fun opportunity. Ocala honestly has so many hidden gems that people don’t always realize, and this is definitely one of them.
Just think about it: an adventurous, bold, and in-love couple zip-lining through the sky, or even just taking some gorgeous photos before they hit the lines. The nature around us, the cliffs, the trees, the water, would make for some seriously epic shots. It would be so freaking cool.
